TBI investigates after inmate found dead at Knox County jail

The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation is looking into the death of an inmate late week at the Roger D. Wilson Detention Facility in Knoxville.

Corrections officers last Tuesday found Joshua Dwayne Evans, 26, deceased in his cell. His body was sent for an autopsy.

Evans was being held on charges that included aggravated assault, assault, burglary and resisting arrest.

TBI says its investigation is ongoing.
