High school students from around the state competed in the kitchen at the University of Tennessee.
Thirteen teams competed at the Tennesse ProStart Invitational, showing off what they learned over the past two years while also competing for scholarship money to continue their education.
Winners have the chance to move onto the national competition where more than $1 million is divided between the top three teams. First place teams will travel to Washington, DC from May 8-10 to compete against 50 other teams from across the country.
The restaurant management competition was Sunday while students showed off their culinary talents on Monday.
Judges came from all over the state to check out everything from looks to tastes.
