UPDATE: Missing 78-year-old Knox County man found in Blount County

UPDATE: The Knox County Sheriff’s Office said early Sunday that Jacob Franklin Haynes was found in Blount County.

The Knox County Sheriff’s Office is searching for a 78-year-old Knox County man.

KCSO says the man’s name is Jacob Franklin Haynes. He is 5’11” tall and weighs 160 lbs. He has blue eyes and brown hair.

He was last seen in a black 1998 Toyota Rav4 with a TN tag B3630Z.

Haynes was last seen wearing black work pants, a grayish/black shirt, black suspenders and a tan hat that says “Army.” 

He is possibly in the Blount County or South Knox County area. Haynes was on his way to a friends house in Maynardville from East Knox County and has not made it.
