U.S. Department of Agriculture Secretary Sonny Perdue was at the Knox County Farmer’s Co-op on Tuesday to talk about recent tax and job legislation.
Perdue also talked about President Trump’s pledge to look out for farmers and rural America.
“It really touches me that Secretary Purdue, somebody that’s so important, can take the time to come to my little neck of the woods,” said Don Holbert, an East Tennessee farmer. “It’s really great.”
Perdue also addressed concerns about rising trade tensions with China.
