UT students helping others during fall break

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WATE) – Several University of Tennessee students are using their time off for fall break to help others.

The “Vol Breaks” program allows students to participate in community service projects across the country.

Beginning Thursday, nine student-led teams will spread out across the Southeast and Midwest – a record total of 107 volunteers, to work on projects addressing everything from youth development to food insecurity.
