A Fall Branch woman is behind bars Tuesday after being accused of harboring a fugitive.
Tennessee Bureau of Investigation special agents and investigators launched a manhunt earlier this month for Jonathan Robert Pearson, wanted in connection to the death of a Washington County inmate.
On Monday, investigators located Pearson at a hotel in Kingsport. He was taken into custody. According to the investigation, Candise Marie Stout helped Pearson elude authorities.
She is believed to be his girlfriend. Stout was arrested Monday night and charged with one count of accessory after the fact and harboring a fugitive.
Stout is being held on a $5,000 bond.
