Year-round food truck park opens in Knoxville

Local News

Knoxville’s first year-round food truck park opened to the public on Thursday.

Central Filling Station rotates through a list of 30 local food trucks every few weeks. The park is located off Central Street just north of downtown Knoxville.

The concept is to have one central location for food trucks to meet so that customers can eat local while having a number of options.

“There are tons of trucks coming online all the time, we’ve learned in the last couple of months. And to create a place where people in Knoxville can always find food trucks, we think was kind of a cool idea and I hope everyone else does too,” said Alden Larrick with Central Filling Station.

The park is open Thursday through Saturday for lunch and dinner, as well as on Sundays from 11 to 6. They’ve already put out a schedule for the first two months of operation.
