Former first lady Barbara Bush, 92, passed away Tuesday, according to a family spokesperson.
It was announced Sunday that Bush was deciding not to seek further medical treatment and would instead focus on comfort care.
She is survived by her husband of 73 years and former President George H.W. Bush, five children, 17 grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, and her brother, Scott Pierce.
Her funeral will be held at St. Martin’s Church in Houston, where she and the former president have been members for decades. There will be private visitation at a Houston funeral home Wednesday and Thursday before a public viewing Friday at the church.
Saturday will be a private service for roughly 1,500 guests.
Several former presidents and first ladies plan to attend.
