New Beck Cultural Center mural celebrates local African-American history

February is national black history month. To celebrate, the Beck Cultural Exchange Center in Knoxville is showing off a new mural.

Beck is a local non-profit museum which preserves African-American history around our region.

Local artist Alan Jones created the new mural. It celebrates the roots and lineage of local African-Americans.

The museum is open Tuesdays through Saturdays from 10  a.m. until 6 p.m. You can find the Beck Center along Dandridge Avenue in Knoxville.
