Memphis rapper Young Dolph is putting his insurance policy to the test after having nearly half a million dollars in jewelry stolen.

Dolph, whose real name is Adolph Thornton, stopped for lunch at a Cracker Barrel in Fairburn, Georgia, Thursday.

Not long after going inside, witnesses say someone smashed a window of his Mercedes and stole almost everything inside.

Among the items taken were two watches worth more 300 thousand dollars, $2,000 in cash, and a laptop computer.

Thornton was on his way to a concert in Louisville.
