The Tennessee Highway Patrol is reporting that one person is dead and two others are injured after a crash in Morgan County on Saturday afternoon.
According to THP, 35-year-old Amber Manis was traveling south on Airport Road when she crossed into the other lane and hit a Mazda sedan. The THP report says she had been drinking and had drugs in her system.
40-year-old Joseph Jones was driving the Mazda sedan with a 10-year-old passenger. Jones was killed in the crash. Both Manis and the 10-year-old were injured.
Manis has been charged with vehicular homicide, reckless homicide, along with other traffic charges.
