Oliver Springs fire chief passes away, served 41 years

OLIVER SPRINGS (WATE) – The Olive Springs Fire Department announced Sunday the passing of Fire Chief Terry Phillips.

Phillips served the city’s fire department for 41 years since 1975.

There will be a receiving of friends at Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church at 115 Old Hen Valley Road on Tuesday from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.

A graveside service will take place at the church Wednesday at 1 p.m
