MELBOURNE, FL (WCMH) – An argument over an alleged affair ended with a bullet lodged in a man’s testicles and a 60-year-old Florida woman in jail.
Victoria Reid was arrested and charged with aggravated battery with a deadly weapon.
According to an arrest report, Reid pointed a gun at her husband and confronted him about the affair, WESH-TV reported.
Reid said she intended to give her husband post-traumatic stress disorder by maiming him, investigators said. WKMG-TV reported Reid also suffers from post-traumatic stress disorder.
She then taunted him and threatened to shoot him in the face or chest, according to the report. Reid finally fired a shot at his knee, but the bullet traveled up and into a testicle, the report said.
The man’s condition is not known.
Reid remains in custody at the Brevard County Jail awaiting a court appearance.
