House Rules for #TNGOPDebate

On Wednesday night, three of the leading candidates for governor will participate in an hour-long debate. 

Here are the rules that the participants – Diane Black, Randy Boyd and Bill Lee must follow. 

There are no opening statements. Candidates will have 30 seconds each for closing statements. 

For main questions, candidates will each get 60 seconds to answer. A bell will ring when time is up. 

Candidates will be allowed 30 seconds for follow up questions or rebuttal. 

Candidate Beth Harwell was also invited to participate in the debate but was unable to do so since the legislature is still in session.
