Shiloh Riders buying toys for children who otherwise wouldn’t know the magic of Christmas

Positively Tennessee

Sue White is doing some serious shopping to bring smiles to a lot of little faces. Carefully choosing baby dolls, stacking them in her cart here at Walmart.

Sue is picking out the perfect toy trucks to surprise a child.

It’s all  thanks to so many of you who supported the Shiloh Riders East Tennessee toy run back in October to bring joy to children in our area who would otherwise not experience to magic of Christmas.

Sue keeping a list – checking it more than twice to make sure no child is left out.

“Any county in East Tennessee if they reach out to us, we will certainly try to help,” she says.

Sue is buying $10,000-worth of toys just toda, the donated dollars go a long way toward a long list of Christmas wishes.

Despite around $30,000 in donations from this year’s toy ride, it’s about half of what’s been raised in the past.

And this year the need is greater, but faith is strong.

“You keep doing it and God keeps providing,” Sue says.

Shiloh Riders still needs teenage clothing donations for their cause. Donation information can be found on their website, by clicking here
