Tennessee expands free mental health services

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WATE) – More Tennesseans are now eligible for free mental health services.

Gov. Bill Lee and the Tennessee General Assembly have expanded the eligibility rules for the state’s Behavioral Health Safety Net program, taking effect on Monday, July 1.

Tennesseans can now take advantage of medication management, transportation to medical appointments and more.
