A 3.6 magnitude earthquake hit northwest Tennessee early Wednesday morning.
According to the U.S. Geological Survey, the epicenter was 7.5 miles north northwest of Dyersburg and 30.4 miles from Blytheville, Arkansas with a depth of nearly nine miles. It was also felt to the north in Missouri and Kentucky.
The quake happened just before 6 a.m. and was felt in parts of northeast Arkansas.
A woman in Covington, Tennessee told our Memphis sister station that it shook enough to wake her up.
