Coronavirus Tennessee: State has had 194,611 COVID-19 cases and 2,420 deaths


NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WATE) – Thirty-one new coronavirus-related deaths were reported in Tennessee on Tuesday for a total of 2,420, a 1.30% increase according to the Tennessee Department of Health.

Tennessee also reported 879 new positive coronavirus cases, which is a 0.45% increase from Monday. The cumulative number of cases is 194,611 the Tennessee Department of Health reported.

Some 2,853,067 tests have been administered and 795 people are currently hospitalized across the state. The total number of people who have recovered from the virus stands at 177,945.
