FBI seeking alleged bank robber possible in East Tennessee

Arnold Eden

The FBI is asking for East Tennesseans to be on the lookout for a man they said robbed a credit union in Memphis.

An FBI spokesperson said Arnold Eden, who is in his 50s, entered the bank on July 3, 2017 and handed the teller a note that said he had a gun and demanded money. He then fled the credit union on foot.

The spokesperson said Eden stole a vehicle from a family member and fled to Chattanooga, where the vehicle was found.

A federal arrest warrant was issued for his arrest on September 1, 2017 after he was charged.

Eden, a native of Puerto Rico, is 6’2″ tall and weights 180 pounds with brown eyes. He has tattoos on his back, chest and left arm. He also has scars on his abdomen, ankle, face, neck and shoulders.

The FBI said he may travel to Memphis, Chattanooga or Stockton, California. They say he should be considered armed and dangerous.
