A major East Tennessee highway will be reduced to one lane in Campbell County after a tractor-trailer overturned and destroyed a large section of guardrail.
Reports of an overturned tractor-trailer on I-75 S at mile marker 136 came in around 5:30 a.m. Wednesday, forcing one of the lanes to close as crews responded to the crash.
Just before 9 a.m., Tennessee Department of Transportation representative Mark Nagi announced the crash had been cleared, but one lane of the highway remained closed as crews replace approximately 1,000 feet of damaged guardrail.
