Lawrenceburg police got some assistance from a K-9 with a drug bust Thursday.

According to police, a traffic stop was conducted on a 2014 Chevrolet Malibu at Walmart.

Officers said a K-9 search of the car was conducted by K-9 “Kilo”.

Kilo indicated a positive response for drugs and officers seized a half pound of meth from the car. 44-year-old Brian P. Perry of Columbia was arrested and booked into the Lawrence County jail on numerous drug charges.

His bond was set at $24,000.
