TBI issues endangered child alert for missing Middle Tennessee teen

PROSPECT, Tenn. (WKRN) – Lincoln County Sheriff’s deputies and the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation are searching for 15-year-old Michael Johnathan Adams.  

According to deputies, he was last seen on foot wearing a purple galaxy hoodie and carrying a gray backpack. He was last seen at his grandmother’s house on Pleasant Hill Road in Prospect, Tennessee, at 5 a.m. Friday morning.  

Adams stands five feet, one inch tall and weighs 105 pounds. He has brown hair and hazel eyes.

Deputies say Adams is a type 1 diabetic with only a small amount of medicine with him and has the mentality of a 10-year-old.
