Woman arrested for felony robbery after incident at Ft. Sanders hospital

A Knoxville woman was arrested and charged with a felony after allegedly attacking a woman outside of a hospital.

This happening at Fort Sanders Regional Medical Center Tuesday afternoon.

Knoxville police responded to a robbery call to find the victim sitting on the ground near her car with her oxygen tank beside her. 

She told police she saw a brown sedan hit her unattended car. When she tried to take a picture of the car, the driver got out and allegedly threw the victim to the ground before stealing her phone and driving off.

Fort Sanders staff were able to help police identify the suspect as Constance Davison. Davison admitted to the incident but denies stealing the woman’s phone.

The value of the stolen phone was estimated at $500. Minor damage was observed on the victim’s vehicle.

Davison now faces charges for felony robbery and leaving the scene of an accident.
