Thousands of infant snowsuits recalled due to choking hazard

The Consumer Product Safety Commission has issued a recall alert for snowsuits from The Children’s Place.

The Commission says the metal snap can detach from the top snap and a baby could swallow it and choke on it.

The recall involves girls’ snowsuits sold in infant sizes 0 to 18 months. They were sold in two styles and three colors/patterns. The style number is printed on a label sewn in to the side seam.

Close to 15,000 were sold this year between August and November.

If you have one of these snowsuits, stop using it and return to the story for a full refund.

For questions, call the Children’s Place at 877-752-2387 or go online to and click on “Recall Information” at the bottom of the page for more information
