KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WATE) — UPDATE: Knoxville Police say several altercations led to two suspects displaying handguns, and possibly firing shots at an apartment just off Cumberland Avenue overnight.
KPD reports that just before 3 a.m. on Saturday, officers responded to The Standard on 17th Street to what was called in as a disturbance.
KPD says that there were reports of shots from an apartment there. Blood was found outside of that apartment, but when officers conducted a safety sweep, no gunshot victims were found, and it didn’t seem anyone was hit by a bullet.

Several rounds were located inside the apartment, and officers say that the blood found was from people that were injured during the altercation.
