KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WATE) — School districts in East Tennessee are issuing closings and delays due to severe weather anticipated to impact the area.

Since Monday, the region has been hit with severe weather and rounds of scattered storms. An EF2 tornado was confirmed to have impacted West Knox County on Monday. Early storms on Thursday morning have prompted several school districts to issue delayed start times.
