KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WATE) — Some school districts in East Tennessee are releasing students early Friday due to sickness and a threat of severe weather.
There was the potential for a few stronger or even severe storms during the evening hours Thursday with damaging winds the main concern, according to the WATE 6 Storm Team. Friday’s forecast from the WATE 6 Storm Team includes heavy downpours and flooding possible throughout the morning.
