The Dallas Cowboys announced Thursday a Tennessee football legend will be returning to the gridiron this upcoming season.
Longtime NFL tight end and VFL Jason Witten will end his retirement and return to the Dallas Cowboys, where he spent his entire 15-year professional career.

The Elizabethton-native retired following the 2017 season and served as an analyst for ESPN’s Monday Night Football during the 2018 season.
The 11-time NFL Pro-Bowler ranks second all-time in career receptions and receiving yards by an NFL tight end.
