Calling all Disney Channel fans. The network announced a “Kim Possible” live-action movie is in the works.

The cartoon has had 87 episodes and two original animated movies since its creation 16 years ago.

“Mark and Bob created an enduring character and kids all over the world found a friend in her, an average girl who just happens to spend her off-school hours thwarting evil villains. Although Kim Possible ‘can do anything,’ kids and tweens found that this animated redhead was just like them,” said Disney Channels Worldwide Executive Vice President Adam Bonnett. “As we embark on the fun challenge of making Kim and Ron fully dimensional, I’m thrilled to be working again with Mark and Bob and to welcome the addition of a dynamic creative team – Josh, Zanne, Adam and Zach – into a world where anything is indeed possible.”

The film will be a Disney Channel Original Movie. Casting has started and many fans are giving their suggestions.

Many fans are suggesting famous redheads that could play the lead role from Bella Thorne to Madeline Petsch.

One fan suggested rapper Pitbull should play the lovable naked mole rat, Rufus.

Some nostalgic fans suggested bringing back former Disney Channel stars to play the lead roles, like Cole Sprouse from “The Suite Life of Zack and Cody.”
