Having one baby is hard enough, but imagine having three identical babies at one time.
It’s a miracle that beats the odds.
“Aidan was baby A, Bryson was Baby B, Lucas is not a C because we could not agree on a C name,”explained Nicole, the triplet’s mom.
The boys, identical from top to bottom, were born February 10th of this year.
For Nicole the triplets were a surprise 7 weeks into her pregnancy.
“I was in shock for a while,” she said. “Jared was the one that was excited right away about having triplets. I just figured he didn’t know all the work that was involved in it.”
Researchers say identical triplets happen one in every 20 to 30 million births.
The babies have been in their Tyrone home for a week now. As you can probably imagine Jared and Nicole haven’t gotten a lot of rest.
“Feeding, sleeping, feeding, sleeping, changing diapers, feeding, sleeping.”
The Benton family is looking forward to family camping trips and more.
“Football,” said Nicole. “My brother is coach for one of the youth football teams in Tyrone. He already said he was coaching them in football so I’m to make him live up to that.”
After coming into the world all under 5 pounds, Nicole and Jared, are happy to have their babies safe and at home.
