TOWNSEND (WATE) – The Townsend Grains and Grits Festival is almost here.
The event will be Saturday at the Townsend Visitors Center. Two dozen Tennessee whiskey distillers, breweries and wineries will be at the event giving free samples. Attendees can meet Jack Daniels Mast Distiller Jeff Arnett. There will be live music from country music artist and East Tennessean Tara Thompson.
Tickets are $60 and VIP parking passes are $10. For more information, visit GrainsandGritsFest.com. The festival is from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m.
