Young Williams lowers cat adoption fees for “Cinco de Gato”

KNOXVILLE (WATE) – A Knoxville animal organization is providing an opportunity for cat lovers.

Young-Williams Animal Center is reducing adoption fees for adult and senior cats on Thursday in honor of Cinco de Mayo.

Adoption fees will be $5 at the 3201 Division Street and 6400 Kingston Pike locations.

“Spring marks the beginning of kitten season,” said Jeff Ashin, Young-Williams Animal Center CEO.  “By offering this adoption special, thanks to Strata-G’s generous support, we’ll be able to adopt more cats and make room for new ones as intake increases.”

Adoptions will include services provided by standard fees: veterinary physical exam, spray/neuter surgery, some standard vaccinations and a microchip. Regular fees costs $50 to $100.Related:Young Williams Animal Center provides many adoption opportunities
