Central defends Class 5A state championship with 30-7 rout over Summit


COOKEVILLE, Tenn. (WATE) – The Central Bobcats are back-to-back champions for the first time in school history.

Central cruised past Summit 30-7 on Friday at Tennessee Tech’s Tucker Stadium.

Bobcats senior quarterback Dakota Fawver was named most valuable player in the game, as he completed 16 of his 21 passes for 216 yards and two touchdowns.
