A trio of upperclassmen will head to Atlanta next week with Jeremy Pruitt for SEC Media Days, the team announced Wednesday. Defensive lineman Kyle Phillips (Sr.), wide receiver Marquez Callaway (Jr.), and tight end Eli Wolf (r-Jr.) will serve as the Vols representatives.
Callaway and Wolf are the first non-seniors to attend the event since 2015, when juniors Josh Dobbs and Cam Sutton attended alongside Curt Maggitt.
The College Football Hall of Fame in Atlanta, Ga. will be the site of this year’s event, alongside the Omni Atlanta Hotel. It’s the first year since 1985 the annual event won’t be held in Birmingham, AL.
Pruitt and UT’s players will make the media rounds during the morning session on Wednesday, July 18. Alabama, Mississippi State and Missouri are also slated to attend on Wednesday.
