Kickoff times for first 3 UT games released

Tennessee Football has announced the kick off time for the first game of the 2018 season. 

The game against West Virginia is scheduled for 3:30 p.m. Eastern Time on September 1. 

The announcement came via Twitter. The game against the  Mountaineers will take place 1st at the Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte, North Carolina. Fans can watch at home as well on CBS. 

This will be the first game of the 2018 season for new UT head football coach Jeremy Pruitt. 

The Vols then return home the following week to battle ETSU on September 8 at 4 p.m. on SEC Network. The Vols will face the Buccaneers, led by first-year head coach Randy Sanders – a former UT player and assistant coach, for the first time in school history. 

The University of Texas at El Paso comes to town a week later on September 15 for a noon tilt, also on SEC Network. The matchup with the Miners will be the third all-time and first since 1990. 

The Vols’ schedule ramps up in earnest after those three games, with contests against Florida, Georgai and Auburn.
