A Tennessee football legend has made some changes to his Twitter account ahead of a yet-to-be-confirmed move to join the Vols’ coaching staff.
ESPN published a report that Tee Martin, who has served on the University of Southern California coaching staff since 2012, is expected to join the Tennessee coaching staff ahead of the 2019 season.
While the university has yet to confirm the move, Martin recently updated his cover photo on Twitter to a panoramic photo of a checkered Neyland Stadium.
Martin is best known as the quarterback who led Tennessee to an undefeated, national championship season in 1998.
Senior ESPN Staff Writer Chris Low reported Martin had several opportunities to join other top programs like Alabama, Auburn, Louisville, Maryland and others.
In 2017, Martin was a semifinalist for the Broyles Award as the top assistant coach in college football.
