Tennessee rallies past Kentucky 82-78 in SEC Semifinal

Lamonte Turner hit a 3-pointer with 30 seconds left to give Tennessee the lead as the Vols rallied past Kentucky 82-78 on Saturday in a semifinal showdown at the SEC Tournament.

Admiral Schofield scored a game-high 21 points while Grant Williams added 20 and seven rebounds. Jordan Bone, who made all eight of his free throws down the stretch, chipped in 18 points.

The loss snaps a 13 game win streak for Kentucky in the SEC Tournament.

The Vols advance to the tournament championship for the second year in a row, where they’ll meet Auburn on Sunday.
