Tennessee Vols keeping right mindset to take ‘what’s theirs’ in NCAA tournament

Fans are starting to stream into the arena in Columbus, Ohio, where the Vols will begin their NCAA men’s basketball tournament journey,

The game starts around 2:45 p.m., shortly after the finish of the Iowa-Cincinnati game.

“You got to go out there and compete,” said Tennessee senior guard Admiral Schofield. “No one is scared of anybody out there. You just have to go out competing and take what’s yours.”

Vol senior forward Grant Williams said: “We’re ready to get going. We’re doing everything to prepare. You just have to understand now it’s time for one-and-done and you have to come with the right mindset every single day, every single game.”

Tennessee,a No. 2 seed, plays Colgate, champion of the Patriot League, and a No. 15 seed. In the NCAA tournament, fifteen seeds are 8 and 131 all time.
