The University of Tennessee men’s basketball team arrived back on campus Friday afternoon following their Sweet 16 loss to Purdue on Thursday night.
Head coach Rick Barnes and the team stepped off the bus from Louisville, Kentucky, at Stokely Hall around 2:45 p.m. on the Volunteer Boulevard side where fans can welcomed them home.
Coach Barnes took a few moments to thank the fans for all their support, inciting more cheers from the crowd.
The Vols fell to the Boilermakers in a nail-biting overtime 99-94 loss, after rallying from a 15-point first half deficit.
