KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WATE) — The threat of incoming weather on Friday following reports of flooding Thursday morning has promoted some school districts in East Tennessee to announce closures.
The WATE 6 Storm Team is not anticipating severe weather overnight Friday; however, there may be some showers overnight, with some winds in the late morning. Chief Meteorologist Ken Weathers said the largest threat overnight will be additional rain to the areas that experienced flooding Thursday morning.
